Painting an historic structure

Almost finished painting the front

After days of comparing color swatches and community debate, we finally have a new streetscape!

Take a look at the paint that just went up on the front of our tasting room. We chose shades of cream, green and red called Montgomery White, Georgian Brick and Tarrytown Green. We wanted these colors so they would be similar to colors historically used on San Saba’s main street through town.

The process of choosing the colors was kind of fun. Local folks took a big interest in what colors we chose, since they have to drive by our tasting room every day. There was quite a debate over how bright the shades of color should be. But I think we all settled on colors that everyone likes.
