Winemaker Notes

Grapes were sourced from vineyards in the Texas High Plains. Normally a blend of Trebbiano and Vermentino, the late spring frost in 2016 reduced the Vermentino crop thus another white grape variety, Chenin Blanc was used. Trebbbiano grapes were juiced not far from the vineyard and transported to San Saba to be processed.

Cooperage Notes

This wine was fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks.
