Rosato di Sangiovese 2018
A perfect wine to pair with a hot Texas day! Very limited case production.
Rose gold in color with aromas of grapefruit, boxwood, candied cherry, and dried dill. Light body, medium+ acidity, with flavors of tart grapefruit.
Picked from Anchor Oaks and High Valley Vineyards with 90% Sangiovese and 10% Cinsault. Originally intended for red wine, the ripeness and chemistry were perfect for rose, so after 48 hours cold-soak, the wine was pressed off the skins.
