Marsanne 2017

Estate grown Rhone varietal dry white wine.

Tasting Notes

This wine has a pale golden color with aromas of honey, baked apple tart, and caramel. On the palate, it is crisp but well rounded with medium body and flavors of delicious ripe pears.

Winemaker's Notes

This limited production wine is grown in our estate High Valley Vineyard in San Saba County, Texas. Grapes were harvested in the early morning hours and transported to the winery. The grapes were pressed and chilled, then racked off gross lees and fermented in stainless steel under cool temperatures. Once fermentation was complete the wine was moved into neutral barrels for short aging period.
