Marsanne from High Valley Vineyards in the Texas Hill Country was barrel-aged and made into a full-bodied yet smooth white wine. A Texas alternative to Chardonnay!

Tasting Notes

Shimmering gold color with a translucent rim. Aromas of banana, creme brulee, cut hay, nectarine, caramel. Moderate acidity, fresh lemon, vanilla yogurt, and lemon meringue on the palate.

Winemaker Notes

Cold fermented with Laffort X16 and co-inoculated (Scott Labs Beta strain) for malolactic fermentation. IOX'd. Barreled down in neutral French oak barrels.
