Rose de Dolcetto 2016
This wine is made with 100% Texas-grown Dolcetto grapes. There is aromas of fresh red fruits with peppery undertones, and a hint of minerality on the nose; notes of cranberry and fresh picked strawberry on the mid pallet; with a soft supple finish.
Rose de Dolcetto was produced using the Saignee method whereby the juice portion was removed after 24 hours of soaking on the skins under cold temperatures. It was fermented at cool temperatures for 4 weeks, then racked and finished.
Fermented and aged in 100% stainless steel.
