Tasting Notes

This bright pink wine shows aromas of maraschino cherry, strawberry, red apple and flint. Bright acid on the palate brings flavors of grapefruit!

Winemaker Notes

The grapes were harvested at night from Diamante Doble Vineyard in Tokio, Texas and transported to the winery in San Saba. New technology on-board grape de-stemmer allowed for a long cold soak on the skins prior to arrival at our winery. The juice for this wine went thru the old Saignae method, meaning to "bleed off" from the larger tank lot. It was then fermented and aged under cold temperatures.
