100% Texas-grown at our estate vineyard, High Valley Vineyard in San Saba County. 42% Syrah, 20% Mourvèdre, 19% Cinsault, 18% Grenache, 1% Tannat
A traditional French Rhone-style blend with a gorgeous garnet color. Brambly raspberry, red cherry and earthy aromatics greet the nose, and the palette follows with juicy tart raspberry and cherry flavors. An elegant estate blend that pulls its powerful flavor from the red clay loam and limestone bedrock of the northern Hill Country terroir.
These grapes were sourced in our estate High Valley Vineyard in San Saba County. Syrah and Grenache were harvested together and 10 days later the Mouvedre and Cinsault grapes were harvested. All grapes were hand harvested, then sorted and destemmed and crushed into stainless steel tanks where they were chilled prior to inoculation of primary fermentation.
Primary fermentation in stainless steel with aging in neutral French oak barrels for 16 months.
